Welcome

It's been awhile seen I have blogged. Life got a little busy when my family kept growing. I now have three under 4 years. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world, even on days that I can't seem to catch a break.

When I first started my blog it was mainly to write about digital scrapbooking but I have moved on to other areas. I still love it but can't really do it like I had in the past. I have also learned to crochet and that has really taken over my life! Never thought it would.

I would like to keep my blog open but for all of my crafts. I think I might even learn something else who knows. Hope you stick around.

Boy did I have a busy weekend!

I didn't get any scrapping done for the last few days! I've been sooo busy! Friday was my birthday and my MIL took me shopping. I had not been out of the house in a while so it was a good change. My FIL came down with something so our plans to have dinner together flew out the window. So it was just myself and my DH. It was really nice. We were able to talk about our baby's name alone, but still no names yet. I can't believe how tough it is to choose one!! We discussed so many details about the baby and where we are going to put her. You see we live with my in-laws, my BIL and his paternal grandmother. All the bedrooms are taken! So we have to make room for her in our already tiny room! For the most part the living arrangement works for us but we really need our own place with a baby on the way. But right now is just not a good time. But I believe things will work out. On Saturday, we had our all day long childbirth class. Most everything that was discussed was a review for me because I did a lot of reading. The only thing I hated was when they decided to show us the epidural needle! I hate them and as long I don't look or see the needle I'm fine but no the other women in the class had to see it. By the time we got home I was exhausted. I'm not sure what I was more, tired or hungry. I did observe something during the day, that I truly have a wonderful husband. He was so much more attentive then the other husbands and I never noticed how much so until I saw other husbands of pregnant women. I mean I always knew what a great person he is but even so more now. He let me nap while he made something to eat and it was ready when I was. Sunday was also pretty busy. My MIL and I went to a bridal shower and the food was so delicious that I over did it. Which is something I don't normally do. I was miserable the rest of the evening! Then Monday came along and I had to go to a doctor's appointment. I was already tired at the beginning of the weekend from the lack of sleep and then all the activity I did over the weekend I was drained. I can't believe how much energy I expend just being pregnant! I sleepily ate my dinner last night and all I wanted to do was crawl into bed but I couldn't get comfortable enough to just fall asleep! But I'm not ready for my pregnancy to be over quite yet. I can't believe it's almost over! It's seems like just yesterday I was beginning the journey to motherhood.

Another LO

I had fun making this LO. I used Silvia Romeo's Whiskers kit. This is my oldest niece. When we first arrived for our visit she didn't want anything to do with either one of us, especially Edward. The minute Edward even looked at her, she would begin to cry. It took about an hour to finally relax and then she was all over him. My sister bought the sunglasses she has on back in April and she did not want to wear them. She still doesn't but she allowed Edward to put them on and she would run around the house with them for a little while. When she took them off she would run back to Edward so he could put them back on her. It was so cute. My mother thinks she's going to hate this picture when she grows up but I suspect that she will only hate through her teen years.

And now for something fun! take the test and post your results in the comments section.

A couple of LO and a Little Something Fun

I was able to do a couple of LO last night despite the fact that I was in the kitchen again for the third time this week baking. Edward's Aunt Maggie is the baker in the family and she is GREAT at what she does. I enjoy having her around because my sweet tooth is ALWAYS satisfied! Plus I am learning from her. She was making cookies for a bridal shower this past weekend and I helped her get the dough ready plus I was able to make some dough for my family and it's waiting for me to roll them and bake them. My DH took some pictures so I could scrap about it! I love our digital camera! And last night she made upside down pineapple cake and it was to die for. My favorite cake!!

Anyhoo, this first LO is for my niece. I really don't don't have too many pictures of her and so I have to stretch and sometimes reuse her photos because her sister has a great start on her album. I can't wait to see her for the holidays. I used Midnight Garden by Lynne Simmons, it was perfect for these photos taken when she was barely a month or two. These were the only pictures of her by herself. Her sister is not camera shy by any means!!

This second LO is of my precious princess whom I miss so very much. She is living with my mother until we have our own place. She was living with me but had to be confined to my bedroom and she was beginning to lose her fur and some weight. Poor baby she is accustomed to being in the same room as me quietly sleeping somewhere close or bathing in the hot sun outside but I was too afraid to let her go outside because there is a hole in the fence with a German shepherd on the other side. I used Whiskers by Silvia Romeo and it's such a great kit for your four legged prince or princess but I have found it's great for a little girl too!

Test your holiday stress! Here are my results!

Your Holiday Stress Level Is Low

You take it easy over the holidays, and you only take on what you can handle.
You know the holidays are about celebrating and fun - not standing in line at the mall!

CT LO for Alma Townsend

I made the following LO with Alma Townsend's Love Letters kit. The first one is my niece Danica, when I went to visit a few weeks ago. I came back with lots of pictures. And the second one is of my husband and me waiting for a flight on our honeymoon.

Brag Book LO

I've been working on a brag book for my niece Elizabeth. I love how they have come out. RoseMcDigitals Brag book templates (set 1) are a real help. I was able to resize them to 5x7 without any problems. The two kits I used were Bliss by Ellie Lash aka Sugar Snap Scraps and Delicious kit by Lynne Simmons. I loved working with both kits. And the colors are perfect!

CT LO Midnight Garden

I love this picture because it makes me laugh every time I see it. This was taken on our honeymoon and Edward surprised me at the perfect time. I was disgusted but when I saw the picture I couldn't help but laugh. There is NEVER a dull moment with him.

CT LO for Lynne Simmons

This is one of my favorite pictures of my nieces. The older one decided to crawl up, sit next to her sister and give her a kiss. Thank goodness I had the camera ready. Of course, the camera is always in my hands when I'm with them! I have to get plenty of photos since I don't get to see them often.

I used Lynne Simmons Delicious Kit for this LO. I thought it was PERFECT for this LO. I love all the elements that are included. Click on the preview below to see it in the Digitals Shop.

Something Fun

Here's Something Fun I came across at the Sweet Shoppe Blog. Here's what my handwriting says about me.

What Your Handwriting Says About You

You are a fairly energetic person. You know how do pace yourself, and you deal well with stress.

You are somewhat outgoing, but you're not a natural extrovert. You think first before you act. You tend to be independent, rational, and logical.

You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others.

You need a bit of space in your life, but you're not a recluse. You expect people to give you a small amount of privacy, and you respect their privacy as well.

You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart.

You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous.
