Welcome

It's been awhile seen I have blogged. Life got a little busy when my family kept growing. I now have three under 4 years. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world, even on days that I can't seem to catch a break.

When I first started my blog it was mainly to write about digital scrapbooking but I have moved on to other areas. I still love it but can't really do it like I had in the past. I have also learned to crochet and that has really taken over my life! Never thought it would.

I would like to keep my blog open but for all of my crafts. I think I might even learn something else who knows. Hope you stick around.

CT LO for Audra Little's Second Spring Kit

These are photos of my niece playing in the leaves. She was happily eating her watermelon and kicking up the leaves, while her grandmother, uncle and daddy raked them up.

New LO

I had fun doing this LO. I always wanted to use the B&W papers I have but I never got them to work to my liking.

CT LO

The holidays really wear me out! It seems like you never have enough time for anything! Then there's Black Friday. I haven't hit the stores on Black Friday in years. Simply because after the first year I began dating my husband I spent the holidays with his family. (my mom at the Post office and must work through the holidays) So I wasn't in my home town for Black Friday and my husband's family doesn't get up for the shopping. I never pushed Edward to go because I really can't stand the crowds they make me a little nervous. Well this year, my husband saw something in an ad that he just had to have and he wanted two of them and the store had a limit of one per customer. I agreed to go with him. Our plan was to roll out of bed at 6 am, brush our teeth dress and run out the door to run in and out then back home and to go to bed for another few hours. We roll out of bed get dressed and run out the door. When we get to the store they are allowing a limited amount of people in at the store. So there's a line wrapped around the store. I wanted to cry! It was freezing outside and it was drizzling. I had a coat on but it wasn't very thick and I had no scarf or gloves. And my husband was in shorts!! We really thought we would run in and out. We waited in line for about 30 mins before we were able to get inside and then we look for the product my husband wanted and stand in line for another 30 mins and the store allowed everyone into the store so no more line outside! We then decided since we were already up to go get the keys to my FIL place of business and pick up our turkey. We cooked on Friday because we had so many family homes we had to visit on Thanksgiving. And then we went to eat breakfast. When we got home we threw the turkey in the oven and we were back in bed by 10 am. We only slept till noon, because the rest of the household kept disturbing us. I can't wait till we have our own place. It's days like these that I dislike our living arrangements. There are six total in our household and our baby on the way. Most days there's plenty of room for everyone but sometimes you just want to be left alone (it rarely happens but still).

My internet and computer have been giving me problems over the last few days so I've only been able to do a few LO. I was able to get my Christmas Card done! Yeah!!

And I was able to do a CT LO using Jan Hosford's Love Notes and Love Notes Extra Kit. I also used Carole Neale Year in Review Template.

LOs

I did a few LO yesterday with no problems. I just had to want forever to get the papers and elements to upload. And even longer for them to save! I never realized what a RAM hog PSE 5.0 was until recently.

I did this LO for a challenge at Gotta Pixel. I finally learned how to "tear" paper. And I love the colors to the papers. My husband or I are always making faces at the camera but never together. And we never know who until we see the photo. We always get a good laugh but the rule is we can't erase it. This time it was him.

I did this LO for my mother. Natasha followed my mother around at a friends apartment parking lot and stole her heart. At first she thought she belonged to someone and then soon realized the cat was homeless. She's a mean cat. Well not all the time but she will turn on you at the drop of a hat. Even when you're scratching her ears. She just has enough and swings at you. We always have to watch her around my nieces. She will tolerate them for a little while and instead of just running away she bats at them.

Some New LOs

My computer was not acting up yesterday so I was able to do some LO. Here are a couple of LO of my nieces. They are 11 months apart and my sister has her work cut out for her! The baby is such a sweetie. She smiles just by talking to her. The other one demands your full attention but hey she was the first baby in our family and that's what we taught her. I have many pictures of the older one and I have scraped her many times. I was starting to feel guilty that I didn't have many LO of the baby but I do live 6 hours away and my sister rarely takes pictures. Shame on her! LOL. So when I went to visit this past weekend I made sure I took plenty of pictures! Especially of the baby. I want her album just as big as her big sister. I wish I could have brought her home with me, but I'll have my own soon enough. I can't wait for my little girl to arrive. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is going smoothly and I have entered my final trimester. The ride to visit my family really took a toll on me so no more traveling for me, at least not by car!

I'm so fusterated!

My computer is getting slower by the day! I was working on a LO for my niece, Danica, and while I was creating a paper tear my PSE stopped responding! I lost my LO! I was so fusterated I decided to try again tomorrow. I did get at least one LO done today of my niece, Elizabeth. I did it for the ad challenge going on now at SOTB. I love the way it came out.

That's it for now!!!

Challenges in the Digital Scrapbooking Community

This month some of the scrapbooking forums are having some great and fun challenges. If you have ever had a brain freeze on what to scrap next or want to try something new or to give you some inspiration, these challenges can be great! Plus most have posting prizes! Meaning if you participate the host gives you a prize. For the LO I did for How you are most like your MIL (See yesterdays post), I would have never thought to put that page together! Another LO I did was Why I Scrap for a challenge hosted by Maria LaFrance at Digital Freebies for NSD. I have decided to use this as my Scrapbooking Cover page. Without this challenge again I would have never come up with this idea! Check out some of the challenges at Digital Freebies, Gotta Pixal, ScrapinFreeStyle and SOTB!

Here's one I did for SOTB Make Mine a Double

Some of these challenges give you templates to work with! I love to work with templates. They make scraping and creating so much easier!!

Here are just a few of the Template challenges going on this month.
Double Sketch with Eva at Digital Freebies
Sketch Template Challenge with Andrea Gold at Go Digital Scrapbooking (she's ill right now so it will be a few days before her challenge is posted)
Marsha's Monthly Puzzle Template at 3 Scrapers

That's it for now!! See you Monday!
